Getting started

Do I need to enter all my patients before I can start?

Nope. Add one patient, schedule one visit, and you're using ZigBuddy. Most clinicians fill in their patient list over the first week, not in one sitting.

Where are the tutorials?

Visit our Learn page for the topic walkthroughs. If you're already signed in, the same guides live in the app under your profile menu.

Account & billing

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you subscribed on the web, go to Account → Manage subscription. If you subscribed on iOS or Android, cancel from your phone's Subscriptions settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

I think I was double-charged.

Most "double charges" turn out to be one subscription on web and one through the App Store. Check both. If you're still seeing two real charges, email us and we'll sort it out.

Can I change my email or password?

Password: yes, from Account → Profile (or from Apple/Google if you used those sign-ins). Email: not from inside the app right now — your email is tied to whichever sign-in method you started with.

Can I export my data?

Yes — mileage and earnings export to XLSX and PDF from inside the app.

Sync & devices

My changes aren't showing up on another device.

Make sure that device has an internet connection. If it does, close the app fully and reopen it — that pulls a fresh sync. If it's still stuck, sign out and back in.

Does ZigBuddy need an internet connection?

Yes — ZigBuddy is an online app. It needs a connection to load your data, get map and routing data, and sync changes between your devices. If you briefly lose signal in the car, the app keeps working with whatever it has already loaded and we show a small banner so you know what's happening; it catches up automatically as soon as you're back online.

I live outside the U.S. — does this work?

ZigBuddy was designed and tested in the U.S., but it works in most countries where Google Maps is available. Email us if anything looks off in your region.

Privacy & security

Is ZigBuddy HIPAA compliant?

ZigBuddy is HIPAA-aligned with administrative, physical, and technical safeguards. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, patient data stays in the U.S., and we don't sell it, share it with advertisers, or let AI providers train on it. Full details on our security page.

Who sees my patient data?

You do. We don't sell it, we don't share it for ads, and we only use it to deliver the service. See our Privacy Policy for the details.

How does ZigBuddy AI handle patient data?

Only the data needed to answer your prompt is sent to our AI provider, and we don't let them train on it. You can avoid AI features entirely if you prefer.
